DallesGo Universe is a creative and interactive platform of after-work courses in Bucharest which provides the opportunity to learn how to transform people’s passions, interests and hobbies into real business. DallesGo Universe is a creative and interactive platform of after-work courses in Bucharest

which provides the opportunity to learn how to transform people’s passions, interests and

hobbies into real business. Here they can try out their skills in real time and develop creativity

because each course has a practical purpose - an exhibition, an online activation or a specific

project at the end of it.

I am attending their Make-up course so I received an invitation for a Guest Day where we could

find out more about the trainers, about the courses, the program and many other things.

Guest Day is a formal event for the external environment, which is targeted at specific and well-

defined audiences like people who are interested about taking part at their courses or new

sponsors. You meet there the experts from DallesGo for a interactive mentorship session that will

help you choose the right course for you. And of course another aim is advertising, because this

will bring more students and, in the end, more profit.

The event was set on Saturday, 29th November from 12pm to 19 pm. I think that the hour that

they chose was well-thought because everybody could come to the first presentations too,

because not everybody wants to get up early on Saturday. The location was their headquarters

somewhere around University because, this way they could show their future ,,students” what

facilities they’ll find there. For example, the make-up room has many make-up stations with big

mirrors and lots of light-bulbs surrounding them, and nice posters on the walls and there I could

see all those amazing professional products that I’m going to use during the course so it was very

important for me and for the others to see that place and what it offers me.

In addition to the aspects of space, time and typology, we can say that, technically, the event

followed a logical wire correlated with the type of activity and expected guests. Every hour, two

trainers met the people interested for their course because the trainers couldn’t stay there all day

long and if everybody came at once it would have been very crowded and it would have

transformed from a pleasing and relaxing event into something tiring and annoying and maybe

they could lose some clients.

At the entrance, three women from the staff waited for the guests prepared with some magazines

which were handed to them in order to find there all the details that they needed and they were

available to answer all our questions.

After the workshop there was a Garage Sale with 50% at some professional products from their

sponsors, clothes and jewelries made by their students from fashion design and so on. Another

good thing was the Candy Bar because you get to be a little hungry and of course who doesn’t

love all those fancy sweets like cupcakes, macarons and so on. And this shows that they know

well their publics: the majority of ,,students” are women and those candy bars are very feminine

decorated. And if it’s not enough, those delicious things were made by the students from the

cooking course and this is the best promoting strategy.

While we were enjoying our dessert we could listen to the fashion advises that the students from

the fashion design, and interior design, stylism, hairstylism and make-up gave us. This way I

found out how many things they learned and made me and others decide that they are worth the

money.

At the end we were asked by the manager if everything was alright, we could ask questions and

everyone got a ticket with a discount of 10% for the course they will choose. So they really know

how to make you want to go there and not anywhere else, they have a good PR strategy and they

are very professional and that’s why they are currently the most popular platform for interactive

courses in Bucharest.
