Project 2A Neighborhood 6 Unit Dwelling

This project is located at the corner of Suffolk and Broome Streets, Manhattan. The main concept of this project is to have the circulation as the core of the building and then the floors branching off it. The circulations move as how an infinite sign would flow. The service areas area located on the first floor and it includes a laundry room, storage, garbage room, and a lounge. This project consist of 2 one bedroom, 2 two bedroom and 3 three bedroom.

Project 3High Density, Low Rise: A Collective Dwelling for SPURA

Building CommunityThis project is about forming a community with harmony and equality. When I think of harmony I think music, when I think of music and equality it reminds me of an equalizer. A void was design in the center of the building which was base on the move-ment of an equalizer. On each floor you can look down into this void and see a glimpse of the community on each floor. The ground floor consists of all public access such as a pool, gym, jogger path, daycare, laundry room, garbage room, storage room and lounge. These programs form a community where people can go and socialize and participate in every day life. The reason why a jogger path was added to the inside is because the walk way around the block was not suitable jogging. The reason for forming this community with in the building is to create greater socialization through arrangement of activates and program this rendering a sense of community and open environment.
