REDUCE

Lots of the items we use regularly are made of plastic. We need

companies to think about whether items have to be made of plastic

or if a different material will work just as well.

REUSE

Around half of the plastic made each year is only used once

before it is thrown away. We need to change this, and use things multiple times. We also need to give plastic things we no longer

use to other people to use.

RECYCLE

Once plastic stuff has been reused lots of times, it should

be recycled and turned into new plastic items, rather than being

thrown away.

REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLEThere are three ways you can help save our planet from plastic: 1) REDUCE the amount of

plastic you use, 2) REUSE plastic items and 3) RECYCLE plastic once you’ve used it lots of times. Can you sort each of the plastic items below into the relevant box or boxes?
