The Design Academy centers on the principles of engineering and integrates with technology, science, math and the arts.
MARCH 14-18: YOUNG AIR, WEATHER AND MECHANICAL ENGINEERS
In this week long program, students will gain the fun-damental skills of mechanical engineering through the study of common machines like mechanical pencils and egg beaters. The program will culminate with working student-designed sailboats and windmills that can catch the wind.
$465 Full Day, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.$100 Early Arrival, 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.$75 Extended Day, 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
