Making it easier than ever for designers to meet the most undiscovered artisans behind many of the region’s most traditional design methods. Featuring upholsterers, glass artists, furniture makers, sculptors and more.

The Artist Avenue is an art gallery on the show floor. This year 40+ international and local artists both famous and unsung are showcasing their latest work.

Using a combination of traditional oil techniques, modern acrylic applications and watercolor, meet the artists who create canvases portraying everything from beautiful landscapes to the avant-garde pieces that tell a powerful story.

Curated by locally based designer Sharon Jutla using Jonathan Adler interior and Four Seasons Ramesh Gallery products, the INDEX Off the Wall feature, will take visitors to, ‘the upside down’. A photo opportunity not to be missed!

Our INDEX Rising Star from 2017, designer Yasmin Farahmandy, is back this year and has added, ‘furniture designer’ to her repertoire of many talents. Launching her new (and first ever) furniture range on the show floor.

The artists featured at this year’s French Craft and Design are Etienne Moyat, Claire Frechet and Emilie Mazeau Langlais. You’ll find quirky pieces, from cardboard furniture inspired by the aristocratic 18th century to unique ceramic sculptors based on geology and mineral forms, on display.

THE VIOLET LOUNGELOCATION: HALL 6

The OFIS design team is collaborating with Interface, Boss Design and Oasis Paints to put

Pantone’s 2018 Color of the Year to the test. Some of the biggest names in the commercial

interiors industry are coming together to create an interactive wall where visitors can mix

and match this complex violet hue with different colors, textures and test out different

applications.

WORK DESIGN STUDIOLOCATION: HALL 6

This presentation hub, brought to you by H2O Concepts and Herman Miller, is a set of seminars focused on promoting happiness and wellness in the work place and will be led by prominent psychologist Oliver Baxter from the Herman Miller Insight Group.

Topics include how office design can affect brain activity and productivity and how interior spaces can help regulate social interactions in the work place.
