Commenced trading in Ireland in 2001 as SB Components (Ireland) Ltd and quickly established itself as Ireland’s leading supplier of bespoke components for the commercial vehicle industry.

In 2012 SM Components Ltd was formed by Seamus Hanna. Seamus has been representing the SB Brand in Ireland from its beginnings and still has very close ties with SB Components management, employees and products. SM Components Ltd is the sole distributor for the SB Components brand in Ireland. During this time the brand name has been widely accepted

as No 1 for bespoke aluminium vehicle components.

In 2015, and due to continued growth, Seamus decided to expand SM Components. Investment was made in further brand names, highly skilled staff and stock holding. In the summer of 2016, a branch was opened in Dublin, to consolidate the continued growth of the Organisation and

better serve the entire country. Again a significant investment was made to allow this new venture to happen successfully. Now, operating out of their Mallusk & Dublin premises, SM Components are able to offer customers countrywide innovative affordable solutions for the Transport, Industrial,

Agricultural and Marine Industries.

Today, our aim is to provide existing and potential customers with cost effective solutions of the highest quality, standards and technology in the marketplace. With the introduction of European Whole Vehicle Type Approval in October 2014, SM Components have been appointed as an approved assembly plant for SB Components International Limited. This allows SM Components to carry out vehicle modifications and conversions under SB Components Type Approval certification, eliminating the need to register vehicle prior to any changes as we will issue a “2nd Stage Approval” for any modifications.

Oil tanks are available to support a full range of hydraulic equipment, ranging from

tipping, walking floors, ejectors, low loaders and crane applications. Various mounting

options for oil tanks are offered including side mounted and behind cab. Hydraulic

tanks mounted at the rear of cab offer a very practical and economical option with

designs in both standard and slim line designs.

Custom built in aluminium to fit all 6x2 and 4x2 ranges of tractor units. Hinged

sections provide access to the chassis and steps can be incorporated to provide

access and aid in driver safety. When designed in conjunction with bespoke catwalks

customers can achieve an individual appearance.

maintained, to combat the harsh natural environments that

cause continual operational wear & tear. So smart operators

know it is wise to protect their expensive farming investments

with well proven lubrication systems.

HDI PROGRESSIVE SYSTEMS

Reliable and compact, offering large pump capabilities and are

capable of pumping lubricants from oil SAE 80/90 to NLGI2

greases. AC pumps are available in 12 & 24 volt versions and

have reservoir capabilities ranging from 1kg to 6kg. The AC

multi-line pumps feed grease directly to each connected point.

The outlets on the AC pumps range from 1 to 60 points.
