AlgaeAboard is set in the context of canal boatdwelling wherein algae become a sustainable sourceof new material for biodegradable plastic productsused on the boat. Economic ination has caused theyoung creative class to work and live on boats as analternative. In synonymous with the distinctive crea-
tive canal culture of the past, their whole life is a quin-tessential way of doing things that established the m ascreative community on water.
Algae bioplastic revokes the preconceived notionand value of plastic being a cheap industrial mate-rial by emulating the aesthetic of precious stones likemarble and jade. With a combination of handcraftand technological processes, algae bioplastic prod-ucts can be manufactured on board or off site.

Basket StoolTin cans, buckets, horse feed tin and watering pots are the few objects that hasbeen revolved in boat living. They have also been given a lot attention withdecorative canal folk art painting apart from the exterior and interior of the boat.Baskets and containers seem to lend themselves into the realm of ambiguity inutility. They can be used for any purpose as the users see t. Making the BasketStool is when I built an intuitive relationship with machine and material.

Boat SlippersThe boat is like a private space. Too small to be called a houseand too big to be called a room. Hence, a big narrow room.Living on it gets dirty easily if dirt is brought in with the shoes. So, many liveaboards have decided to to keep an indoor slippersthat is solely worn on the boat. Not being obsessive-compulsivedisorder, keeping a general cleanliness is merely a customary.

ProjectCLOCKWORK APPARATUS
This is a love affair between a Cyclist, a Bicycle anda Bike stand. The Cyclist loves the Bicycle. The Bikestand wants to take care of the Bicycle. The Bicyclelikes to be taken care of by the both of them.
When function meets desire, every touch of detailis at the apex of honesty, accentuating a holistic pleas-urable user experience. Like a horological timepiece, mechanical components are embraced by baring itall. Echoing the essence of time, Clockwork Appara-tus stands as a piece of utilitarian jewellery.
A constantly evolving sculpture by responding toevery time the bicycle is placed on it, the action isrendered in the position of the toolbox at its verticalaxis. The position serves as an intuitive semiotics,a visual reminder to the cyclist to perform weekly(when the toolbox is lifted to the highest level after 7rides) maintenance and care. The cycle repeats afterthe toolbox is descended to the origin.

ProjectBRIM LAMP
Year2015
Multifunctional furniture found its urgency to ex -ist in optimising micro-living spaces of the 21stcentury. Lightings, which are the most vital partof our living, seem to be coming up short. BrimLamp rethinks the essential necessity of light byextrapolating the application of exible OLEDpanel.
In favour of intuitve tangible control of lightqualities and environmental responsive intelli-gence, the lamp provides smooth tranformationfrom a torch to a pendant to an ambience light-ing. Designed and made for the circular econ-omy, each component is to be disintegrated forupgrades or maintenance. The lamp projects itselfas the key lighting member in the living spaces ofurban dwellers. It strives to build a relationship asa dynamic character, fullling the exible need ofits master (ceiling-mount, wall-mount and stand)
through constant interaction.

/
Bafed by the ubiquity of plastic food container andits neglected entity, this project imagines a new rangeof food encapsulation in synonymous to how we inter-act, consume and behave with food.
What happens when the prevalent socioculturalphenomenon of Food Porn, sexual fetishes, emotion-al interaction and desires with food are materialised inthe form of design products? The daily objects breathenew soul of the taboo subject, engaging respectiveprospect users by taking an empathetic and narrativeapproach to interrelationships between ction andfunction.

The brief requires us to make festival benches for 50to 100 people out of recycled plastic boards - Stok-
board by Centriforce, weatherproof fabric by Panazand only to be manufactured by CNC process with24 Design, the focus is on providing a landscapeof multiple seating heights to cater the public, fromyoung to old.
The design encourages active interaction andimaginative postures as different sizes nestle to-gether to form different seating arrangements. Inthree sizes:- Large (Papa Bench), Medium (MamaBench) and Small (Baby Bench), hence the narrativeconcept of Goldilocks and the three bears. User, inthis instance is the protagonist - Goldilocks, goingaround playfullly trying on different benches.

Year2015
Given tight restriction of the material beingrecycled plastic board - Stokboard by Centri-force and to only be manufactured by CNCprocess, a distinguishable icon is suggestedfor the creative festival while considering onthe aspects of material efciency and func-tional properties.
Alterating the tactility of materials by mar-rying industrial process and handmakingwith regard to the heritage identity of Man-chester, the proposal inspires playful interac-tion and sparks new conversation.

ProgramMixed-Use Development
LocationSouth Klang, Malaysia
Site Area2000 sqm
This nal project calls to constitute a sustainablepublic architectural scheme that will be given im-petus to social, cultural and environmental aspectsof South Klang. How can the historical memoryof an old port town be insinuated into and in-corporated with the dynamics of the present in acontemporary manner? The amalgam balance ofhistory and future is deployed with the theory ofproxemics urbanism.
The proposed program is an agglomeration ofresources library, contemporary and historical gal-lery, co-working studio space, workshop, lecturecum discussion space and a cafe. It is a communityresources centre to preserve, conserve the localcultural practices and businesses, at the same timecreatives are commissioned to receiving voices forfuture development of the town.

Potential Access and Nodal Points
The site nds itself to be situated in the middle ofvast typologies. The design project will potentiallybe a gathering space that invites and connects allusers from the neighbouring context.
Analysing from the ow of circulation, a newpotential pedestrain path crossing the site will beintroduced, solving the issue of missing pedestriansidewalks and pedestrains safety at the same time.
The project will respond to the Royal Gallerysymmetrically and align to the visual axis of theMosque. The project also considers unblockedviews across the site and towards the gallery.
Aware of taking over the vast green open space, the project is decided to retain the green, main-taining the sense of openness and projects itselfas a sculpture in the courtyard of the town.
