The Piece of Cake Triangle Scarf
Crochet Pattern is just that... a
piece of cake! It's a super easy,
beginner friendly triangle scarf.
And it's the perfect size for your fa-
vorite yarn cake! I used three col-
ors I had in my stash, but I've also
made this using exactly one yarn
cake (including fringe!).

Materials
355 yards worsted weight acrylic yarn
5.0 mm hook
Yarn needle
Scissors
Level
Easy - intermediate (you must be familiar with basic crochet stitches)

Sl st - slip stich
Ch - chain
Dc - double crochet
Written in US terms
Finished size:
Length: 26 inches (including fringe)
Width: 14.5 inches
Gauge:
11 dc x 7 rows = 4” x 4”
Ch 3 at the beginning of each round counts as dc

Pattern
Ch 4, sl st to first ch to form a ring
Row 1: ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) all
into ring (6 dc)
Row 3: ch 3, turn, dc in same space
and in next 5, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) all in
ch 2 space, dc in next 5, 2 dc in last
stitch (18 dc)
Row 2: ch 3, turn, dc in same stitch
and in next 2, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) all
in ch 2 space, dc in next 2, 2 dc in
last st (12 dc)
Row 4: ch 4 (counts as dc + ch 1),
turn, dc in same space, ch 1, *skip
one stitch, dc, ch 1* repeat from *
to * 3 more times, (dc, ch 2, dc) all
in ch 2 space, ch 1, dc in next dc,
ch 1 *skip one stitch, dc, ch 1* 4
times, dc again in last stitch (14 dc)

Row 5 - 7: ch 3, turn, dc in same stitch, and in each stitch and ch
across to the ch 2 space, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) all in ch 2 space, dc in
each stitch and ch across, dc again in last stitch (44 dc)
Row 8: ch 4 (counts as dc + ch 1), turn, dc in same space, ch 1, *skip
one stitch, dc, ch 1* repeat from * to * across to one stitch before ch
2 space, skip 1 dc, (dc, ch 2, dc) all in ch 2 space, ch 1, *skip one
stitch, dc, ch 1* repeat from * to *across to last stitch, dc again in last
stitch (26 dc)
Repeat rows 5 - 8 to row 24 (74 dc)
Fasten off, leave a long end for sewing.
Weave in other end.
Add 3 12 inch pieces to each ch 1 space as fringe.

Bring each corner to the center, over lapping 10 rows
With the long end and yarn needle, whipstitch the overlapping pieces.
Fasten off, weave in the ends.
