TEST:Attachthatwobatteriesandcliproachclipstogether,thaLEDwilllight.Pressandholdthaswitchfor3seconds.YoushouldhearaclickthenthaLEDwillgoout.Inalittlewhile(dependingonwhatcapacitorandresis-torsizeyouuse),youshouldhearanotherclickandthaLEDwillturnonagain.Ifthisdoesn'thappen,youphuckedup!Checkyourcircuitcare-fully.

IfthaTESTworked,thatimerisreadytouse.Attachtwofreshbatteriesandconnectthatworoachclips.Allowtimeequivalenttoyourdelayforthacapactitortocharge.Now,pressthaswitchuntilthaLEDgoesout.Now,quicklybutcarefullyattachtharoachclipstothaSolarIgniterthathasbeenpreviouslyattachedtoyourbomb.Then,getthaphuckoutofthere!!!Oncethatimedelayexpires,tharelaywillopencompletingthasecondcircuitandignitingthaSolarIgniter.

TechNote:ThavaluesofR1andC1determinethatimedelay.Thagreaterthesevalues,thalongerthadelay.Thaequationtodeterminetimedelayisasfollows:C1(infarads)xR1(inohms)

Time(inseconds)=---------------------------------6ThavalueofC1isinfarads.Mostcapacitorsarelistedinmicro-farads.Tousethaformula,dividethanumberofmicrofaradsby1,000,000.
