THE ASSISTANTSHIPS AND SCHOLARSHIPS OFFICEThe Assistantships and Scholarships Office (ASO)
is in the process of being established.Central coordination point for 250 GA’s a year at
UB.GA’s work as graduate assistants, teaching
assistants and research assistants.The Graduate Assistantship Program for 100
Engineering GA’s and 65 Business GA’s will be open to new graduate students starting Fall 2009.
Deans Assistantships and Society of Women in Engineering Assistantships are also being created.

SEED MONEY GRANT PROGRAMThe Division of Graduate Studies and Research
