Development and Operations Support Coordinator Job Announcement 4/26/16 The Northwest Center for Alternatives to Pesticides seeks a motivated individual with operations and fundraising experience to be our Development and Operations Support Coordinator. This position reports to the Assistant Director at NCAP and supports and coordinates NCAP’s systems related to memberships and donors, technology and information management, educational and fundraising events, work study and volunteers and provides office management support. Membership/Donor Support (35%): Implements and strengthens donor relationships with quality and timely data management and use. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software is preferred. Technology and Information Management (30%): Maintains a thorough understanding of and support for general office software and technology for best data, donor and communications management. Experience with Mac systems, DropBox, MS Office, Gmail, and Google Apps is preferred. Educational and Fundraising Event-Support (25%): Supports event related systems and efficient logistical processes for the improvement and growth of a variety of fundraising events, house parties, educational workshops, webinars, and presentations. Experience with event management processes is preferred. Work Study/Volunteer Administration and Coordination (5%): Supports volunteers and work study students with the appropriate delegation of projects managed by NCAP program staff. Experience supporting volunteers, students, timesheets and record keeping processes is preferred. Office Management and Support (5%): Manages and coordinates Eugene office hours, staff coverage, the inventory and purchase of office supplies, delivery and pick up schedules and property management needs. Experience with general office support and property managers is preferred. Applicants should be self-starters with a positive attitude and should demonstrate a strong ability to manage and work with people. Strong writing skills, excellent organization and time management abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Word and Excel are critical to the success of this position. This is a .75 full time equivalent (FTE) non-exempt position (30 hours per week). The hourly salary is $16.91 per hour. The position will be based in NCAP’s Eugene, Oregon office. NCAP is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization based in Eugene, Oregon with staff in Portland, Seattle and Boise. We serve a five-state area including Oregon, Washington, Idaho, northern California and western Montana.
