Peg Carmany, CEO of Methodist ElderCare Services (MES), stated: “The excitement grows as we begin site work for Wesley Woods at New Albany! What began as a vision for extending our mission and creating financial stability for the entire company is coming to fruition...and we are all working hard to make this dream a reality. Our company focus is wellness in all of its forms–physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, social, environmental, occupational, and financial and Wesley Woods will continue in that tradition.”

Executive Director Announced for Wesley Woods Recently announced as the new Executive Director of Wesley Woods,

Wendell Graves has been with MES for 10 years and completed his most recent position as the Director of Special Projects. “This project is a contribution to the future of our seniors, the community and to our company. It is very much part of the vision of our entire organization and opportunities exist for donors to give to this project,” stated Wendell. Construction has begun and 75% of the interior is designed. We are all excited about Wesley Woods and the opportunities for growth!

Exclusive Donor Preview of the Newly Renovated Lobby at Wesley Glen

Wesley Glen lobby renovation donors and major supporters of MES attended an exclusive sneak peek of the newly renovated Wesley Glen lobby and Vecozols Patio on October 29. Guests first gathered on the Vecozols Patio, generously donated by Stephanie and Aivests Vecozols, and then proceeded into the lobby. Wesley Glen resident Paul Meuser, gave a

heartfelt invocation. Peg Carmany, CEO, spoke about the generosity of all donors who made the renovations possible including the following named spaces: The Viola Anderson Lounge, The Gathering Place sponsored by The Guild at Wesley Glen and a special surprise dedication of the Holm Marketplace, named in honor of Bob and Mary Holm, for their 45 plus years of service to MES.
