JUVENILE MEMBERSHIPGoal: Build juvenile membership to over

75 Actions: Look at reducing juvenile costs. A stronger link to primary schools should be established. Including the club

getting involved with coaching in the schools and also providing equipment where possible.

A community liaison to approach schools. The Badminton Ireland Development Officer (Brenda Barry) may be able to

help. (FAS supported people to go to schools – is funding available?) Advertise in a local paper that there is a juvenile open day on Sunday

mornings.

JUVENILE EXPERIENCEGoal: Facilitate fun and excellence in safe

environmentActions: Child welfare officer to be appointed. (Ann Toebes has been nominated.) There are currently 4 juveniles at a Cork County level. Target is 20

juveniles. More time allocated to fun juvenile time on weekends. Fix Shuttle line at back of court 3 Organise friendly matches for juveniles

BADMINTON EXCELLENCEGoal: Improve excellence at all levels

(from Division 1 to Novice, Adults and Juveniles.)

Actions: Investigate the option of utilizing any available FAS badminton. More high performance coaching training for div 1/2 players. Coaching for div 3 /4 Coaching for div 5/6/novice Free/Reduced membership for juvenile coaches? Some more exercise equipment such as a rowing machine, skipping ropes

etc. that can be used alongside the bicycle should be invested in.
