gets mad at you, but when you take him for a car ride, he sticks his head out the window?

Prayer Theme for New Year This past year we focused on the Year of Your Bible. Now in 2019 our theme or focus is going to be on prayer. This morning’s message will be an introduction to this theme and our focus verse of Colossians 4:2 which says, “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” We will have various ways to encourage you to grow in your prayer life this year. With all the things going on in our families, church, community, and world, prayer is vital to communicating with Jesus and seeking the Lord’s guidance. Let’s all become more devoted to prayer in the new year ahead.

World Fellowship Sunday To celebrate World Fellowship Sunday the Arthur Ministerial Association will once again be having a pulpit exchange on Sunday, January 20. year or two?

What changes can you make in your daily faith walk to be more devoted to

prayer?

How might prayer change your current situation? Begin by sharing your heart

with Jesus.

Going Deeper: Start a prayer list of people and things you want to be in prayer about this year. Update it, change it, and record answers to prayer

as you converse with God.
