Dewatering SystemsImprove water conservation and minimize environmental impactAs water conservation becomes a greater public concern, the amount of water used in drilling operations has also come under scrutiny. Fortunately, Baroid dewatering systems allow you to both recycle water and reduce the amount of waste transported and disposed of in the environment. Baroid uses both chemical and mechanical means to separate water from suspended solids. With our ENVIRO-FLOC dewatering system, coagulation and flocculation are applied to the fluid to chemically remove fine solids. In addition, a decanting centrifuge employs mechanical separation, all in a versatile, mobile and winterized unit.Recycle to reduce costsThe ENVIRO-FLOC system, and dissolved air flotation (DAF) units, can be used onsite to treat and recycle water as part of the solids control system, or to reduce total waste volume for subsequent disposal. Reclaimed water can then be reused in the drilling fluid, reducing fresh water consumption and costs, as well as reducing costly transport.Versatile units, customized to meet project needsOur high capacity, ENVIRO-FLOC system can process up to 300 gallons per minute, a capability that assures high ROP operations wont be hindered. Plus, its versatile design allows it to be fitted onto skids or trailers for full mobility and, because it is winterized, can be used in extremely cold conditions. Baroid engineers can design the entire waste management system around your specific operational requirements. Integration of the unit and each piece of equipment with the waste management system is assured via Baroids proven processes.
