I offer professional hair and make-up services, art direction as well as fashion and interior styling. I seek to the capture inner and outer beauty in all of my clients and want you to shine as brightly as you can under my lense. I pride myself on capturing candid moments that tell stories better than any posed stiff photos ever could. I offer artistic portraiture in which I seek to empower others to explore their self expression and confidence through what I call photo therapy, I do sessions for the individual, families, couples and groups. I also specialize in wedding and engagement shoots. My work has been featured in and around the Washington D.C. area including MTV’s “Real World DC” house, DC Modern Luxury, Bloomingdales, Peacock Cafe, Neiman Marcus, FotoDC Flash, Studio H Gallery, Capitol File, L2 Lounge & FotoWeek. Pricing for fashion and commercial shoots depends largely upon the specifications of the shoot. Including but not limited to the number of models, if hair and make-up are required, if styling is required, the level or art direction that is required from myself, and of course the art budget available for the particular project in question. I have been commissioned to do work for restaurant interior projects, Bloomingdales and a number of hospitality vendors in the Washington D.C. area.

We will create a concept for your shoot that will bring out the essence of who you are. Part of the preliminary discussions will include figuring out the best location and stylistic approach to meet your needs. Professional make-up and hair are additional but are highly recommended, I work with only top hair and make-up artists in the area. Hair and make-up packages range from $300 and up. I take care of the wardrobe, all you have to do is show up the day of the shoot. Photo therapy is about looking and feeling your best, it’s like being a star for a day! I offer photo therapy packages for the individual, couples, groups and families large and small.

If you are looking for someone to plop you in front of a camera and say “CHEESE”, I am not that photographer. My goal is to photograph your family in a fun comfortable environment with style. Whether it’s baking with your family or cleaning the house in an evening gown, I want to be there and capture it. I photograph almost all of my portraits in or around my clients’ homes, where children are comfortable and free to express who they are. Where families can just be themselves. If you would like to commission a portrait of your children or family, please contact me to set up a consultation. We’ll sit down and talk about your style and what types of images you hope for. We’ll discuss clothing, locations and get to know one another a little bit.

My style is artistic and editorial. You won’t even realize I am there. I capture the glances of love that flow when you think that no one is watching. My style is very unobtrusive, I am a voyeur on your wedding day. Whenever I approach a subject I seek to find the beauty in it that most people wouldn’t give a first glance to, and turn it into something that creates interest and provokes emotion. I often find beauty in the details. Though the eyes of a dreamer, I explore my subjects from different angles for a unique perspective. Couples therapy is a creative styled shoot where the two of you can be affectionate with each other and create lasting memories. Whether you are newly engaged or have been together for years I want to capture your love.
