DIRECTIONS FROM SAN LUIS OBISPO AIRPORT: Take airport access road to Tank Farm Road and turn west (left). Take Tank Farm Road to Higuera, and turn south (left). Take Higuera to U.S. Highway 101. Take U.S. 101 South to the San Luis Bay Drive exit. Exit here turning west (right) onto San Luis Bay Drive. Turn right at the end of San Luis Bay Drive (Avila Rd.). The entrance to Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant will be on the right. Total approximate distance = 15 miles.

Directions to The Cliffs at Shell Beach: Continue south on U.S. 101 past the San Luis Bay Drive exit to the Spyglass Rd., Shell Beach exit. You will see The Cliffs on your right as you approach the exit (and lots of tall palm trees).
