Sentence Puzzles Sentence puzzles are a wonderful activity to help young learners practice reading, writing, spelling, conventions, and grammar. Many of the sentence puzzles are fact based, making for even more

meaningful learning!

My sentence puzzles are differentiated to accommodate all ability levels.

Versions 1 and 2

Students cut up the theme related sentences, glue them in order, copy the sentences neatly and

illustrate their sentences. Version 1 only has 4 words and runs from the beginning of the year through apple season. Version 2 has 5 words and then 6

words, as the year progresses.

Version 3 Students cut up the theme related questions, glue

them in order, copy the questions neatly, answer the questions, and illustrate their sentences. This version is more challenging and teaches the children how to respond to a question, using part of the question in

their answer. ©Created by Lori Rosenberg @ Teaching With Love and Laughter
