•Topic of Paper• Becoming an attorney can be difficult and not as easy

as most people think. For instance, a lawyer's reputation can be used to determine whether or not a client would hire a certain lawyer.

Job Shadowing

•When: Thursday, March 15th

•Where: Dare County Justice Center•Who: Merlee Austin (Dare County Clerk of Court) and Chrissy DeGabrielle ( Dare County Assistant District Attorney)

•What: Met Judge Edgar L. Barnes, learned about the different types of courtrooms, learned about the tasks of a clerk of court, experienced two trails, witnessed a prosecutor in action

• My product synthesized with my research paper and job shadowing. Since it creates a visual aid to better explain the setup of a courtroom.
