OUR PRAYER FOR YOU

Our prayer is that you would discover the author of love… the Lord Jesus Christ. His life and death represent the greatest gift of love the world will ever see… “This is real love - not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” 1 John 4:9-10 (NLT)… God paid the ultimate sacrifice sending His Son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross in our place and rose again to prove His victory, restore our relationship with Him and empower us for life. It is through Jesus Christ that we can know and be reconciled with God… All we need to do is believe in Him and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. It is as simple as praying a prayer…asking Jesus to meet you right where you are… It is a brand new start of living in relationship with God… If you are not sure that you personally know the Lord Jesus, then can we encourage you to make this your prayer today…

Dear Lord Jesus, Thank you for dying on the cross for me. Thank you for your amazing love. I repent of my sins and thank you for your forgiveness. Please come into my life and give me a fresh start. I believe in you and accept you as my Lord and Saviour. I am now a Christian - a follower of Jesus Christ and you now live in me. Help me to live my life for you from this day forward. Amen.

LEGACYHillsong Church has always been passionate about worship - equally committed to bringing our worship to Jesus at church, and to continuing this worship in our everyday lives in ways that allow others to sense God’s magnificence and power. We know that God has always been and will always be worthy of our sacrifice of praise. Hence, in Hillsong Churches from Sydney to New York, from London to Cape Town, we will always lift our hearts and voices to worship Him, and believe for a day when His praises will resound through all the tribal villages, towns, great cities and nations of the earth.

As the years have unfolded, God has graced us with the platform to offer our worship to the greater Church. For 26 years, Hillsong Worship has had the privilege of releasing an annual Worship Album, many of which have had incredible reach across the earth. More importantly, God has allowed our local church Hillsong Worship songs to become the songs of local churches everywhere with songs such as Shout To The Lord, Mighty To Save, Hosanna, Cornerstone and Forever Reign giving expression to millions of worshippers across the globe. Our Hillsong Worship songs have been sung in traditional churches in a bustling metropolis like New York City, through to the underground Church in China, and the most remote village in Uganda.During this time, God has graced our Hillsong Worship team with amazing leaders and songwriters. Our Hillsong Worship heritage is a rich treasure and the legacy left by those who blazed the trail is a great responsibility. It is one that we, as the current Hillsong Worship team, hold carefully, with gratitude and humility, and by God’s grace.

CONTINUING THE TRADITIONOur current Hillsong Worship team features a host of widely recognised names and faces - people like Reuben Morgan, Ben Fielding, Matt Crocker, Joel Houston, Jonathon ‘JD’ Douglass, Jad Gillies, Marty Sampson, Ray Badham, Annie Garratt, Nigel Hendroff and Autumn Hardman - under the leadership of Global Creative Pastor Cass Langton and her husband Rich.Yet, for each of the well-known Hillsong Worship faces and names, there are hundreds and hundreds of faces and names that many people may never know or see, that serve in the Hillsong Creative team in campuses all across the globe. We are a team who are varied in location, gift and calling, including musicians, vocalists, audio and lighting engineers, film and editing teams.And yet, we are a team that is united in our service and passion, who above all else, seek to bring worship to the One whose Name is above all names… Jesus.

ANNUAL HILLSONG WORSHIP ALBUMOur annual Hillsong Worship album is the combined effort of our Hillsong Church worship teams to express both our personal devotion and a congregational offering of worship. Ever-committed to resourcing individuals, worship teams and churches alike, the Hillsong Worship team seeks to bring songs that are as diverse as the greater Church herself is. Our prayer each year is that our Hillsong Worship album would offer songs for all generations and demographics that are declarations of faith and adoration.

UNITED AND Y&F TEAMSUNITED is committed to writing songs that speak truth, create a unique sound, connect with churches, individuals and ultimately connect people everywhere with God. Young & Free (Y&F) is the creative worship expression of Hillsong Church’s current youth movement.
