Digital Driver’s LicenseThe following slides were designed to be utilized by schools and organizations who are completing the Digital Driver’s License program offered through the University of Kentucky’s OTIS. Our STLP students have created a license image that can be used for students and staff.

How to use this file to create a license• We have designed three different templates: Elementary,

Elementary/Middle/High, and Staff. Each level of the license is identified by the boxes with the corresponding letter. E = Elementary, M = Middle, and H= High

• A sample copy of each is provided before each template. • To create copies, simply select the slide of the template. Click on copy. • Open up a new presentation and paste the slide into the new presentation. • Right click on the blue box that says “Enter District or School Logo Here” and

select change picture. You may enter in your own logo.• Once you have your designated logo on this slide, right click on the slide

over in the slide boxes where your presentation is outlined. Click duplicate slide and make multiple copies of your newly designed slide.

• Once you have multiple templates, you can begin to individually enter student pictures and information. To insert pictures, right click on the blue box that says “ Enter Photo Here” and select change picture.

How to print the license• Once you have created your file, click save and name your file.• Then, click file and select save as.• Rename your file and in the box that says “Save as file type” select JPEG

File Interchange Format from the pull down menu.• Click Save. • A box will put up asking if you want to export every slide in the

presentation . Select the option that says “Every Slide”. • At this time, you can close your Powerpoint.• Go to your documents and check the box next to your renamed JPEG file.• Click on print.• Print these wallet-sized if you want students to have a smaller card that

will fit in their wallets or hang from a lanyard.• We found it was best to laminate the cards for longer use.
