• DIH – Robot and Assistive Systems
• Operated by the department Robot and Assisitve
Systems of Fraunhofer IPA
• Development of robot systems and automation
solutions for industry and also for the
services sector.
• Focus on logistics and elderly care

• DIH – Application Center for Automation in
Healthcare
• Operated by the Project Group for Automation in
Medicine and Biotechnology
• Research and development of digital solutions for
medical industry and life science.
• Focus on robotic assisted therapies in the Mannheim
Medical Transfer Center (M²TC).

• Data collection for interventional procedure
training, usability studies and benchmarks
• Usage of black box and white box models for
simulations.
