Collaboration
• UCC working towards developing a collaboration to increase our reach and number of online students
• A small number of post graduate programmes (3-4) in Medicine & Health and Business & Law are under review for consideration
• Wiley will help with:
• Programme marketing;
• Student recruitment;
• Provide support for instructional design;
• Support student retention.
Conclusions
• Education is going through a revolution and Teaching & Learning (T&L) is at the centre.
• Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) is central to the future.
• TEL has the potential & capacity to broaden educational opportunity.
• Innovation in T&L is required as universities as we know them today will not survive in the future.
• Innovation in pedagogy and e-support for students, educators to meet this challenge- where the rewards are very high.
