PIZZA

IN MY OPINION I THINK THE PHOTO WITH THE COLORED PIZZA LOOKS BETTER. I SAY THIS BECAUSE WHEN I LOOK AT IT I FEEL THAT ITS MORE APEALING. IT MAKES ME MORE HUNGRY LOOKING AT THE COLORED PIZZA THEN LOOKING AT THE BLACK AND WHITE ONE, ALTHOUGH THEY BOTH LOOK GOOD THE COLORED ONE JUST LOOKS BETTER.

BABY PICTURE

IN THESE PICTURES I THINK I LIKE THE BLACK AND WHITE PICTURE BETTER. I LIKE IT MORE BECAUSE IT SEEMS TO ADD SOMETHING EXTRA TO THE PHOTO THAT WASN’T THERE BEFORE. IT JUST BRINGS OUT MORE IN THE PICTURE GIVING IT A BETTER LOOK.

DOGS

I THINK THE COLOR IS BETTER. THE COLOR CAN SHOW THE EMOJIS BETTER AND THE COLOR OF MY DOG. THE BLACK AND WHITE LOOKS MORE PLAIN TO ME IN THIS SPECIFIC PHOTO.

IN THESE PICTURES I BELIVE THE COLORED LOOKS BETTER. I SAY THIS BECAUSE YOU CAN SEE THE TEAL BACKGROUND AND ALL THE COLORS IN THE PICTURE LOOK NICE. THE BLACK AND WHITE DULLS THE WHOLE PICTURE .

IN THIS PICTURE I LIKE THE BLACK AND WHITE A LOT BETTER. TO ME IT MAKES IT LOOK BETTER BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL COLORS WERENT THAT GREAT. SINCE THE COLORS WERE PLAIN THE BLACK AND WHITE COVERS IT UP TO MAKE IT LOOK BETTER.

FOR THESE TWO PHOTOS I LIKE THE COLORED ONE BETTER.IN THE COLORED PICTURE THE SKY HAS A VERY NICE PATTERN. IN THE BLACK AND WHITE IT LOOKS LIKE A STORMY DAY WHEN REALLY IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY.

IN THIS PICTURE I LIKE THE COLOR BETTER. I SAY THIS BECAUSE YOU CAN SEE THE MULTIPLE COLORS IN THE PICTURE. THE BLACK AND WHITE TAKES EVERYTHING AWAY FROM A GOOD PICTURE.

IN THIS PICTURE THE COLORED AND BLACK AND WHITE LOOK THE SAME. THE BLACK AND WHITE JUST DARKENS THE SHADE A LITTLE MORE. BUT IF I HAD TO PICK I WOULD CHOOSE THE COLORED.

Photo Essay: Each project will be a “Photo Essay”. A Photo Essay is an essay or short article consisting of text and numerous photographs. Each project will have different requirements. All photos must be edited in iPiccy or another photo editing application.

YOU MUST CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS BELOW:

Photowalk: Take a walk in your neighborhood or go to a park, mall, or some other place. Take 10 photographs of what you see and what you do. Be prepared to write and justify how it goes with your project. Write 3 sentences about each photograph.

Reflections: Choose 10 of your favorite quotes. Use 10 different self-portraits to make 10 different blended photos. Write a 3 sentence reflection about each blended photograph.

10 New Friends: Find 10 people at our school that you have not yet met. Ask if you can take a photo – yes, ask first. Find out a little bit of information about them, and write it down. You will need to write something about each person in your presentation. You can write three interesting facts or you can ask a question from the list I sent you. Write 3 sentences about each person.

Pick-A-Something: Trees, birds, shoes, purses, squares, circles, blues, greens, fruits, snacks, sports equipment, tea cups, dogs, horses, etc.. Pick “something” and take 10 photos. Be prepared to write and justify how it goes with your category. Write 3 sentences about each photograph.

Go Mono: Take 10 photographs. Convert them all to black and white images. Use both photos (color and black/white) in your presentation. Write 3 sentences to justify whether color or black/white is best for each photo.

Scavenger Hunt: I will give you a list of 10 things to find and photograph. Write 3 sentences to justify how it satisfies the requirement of the scavenger list.

A-Z: Take 26 photographs representing the letters of the alphabet. They can be objects that start with that letter or that represent that letter. This will require more work than the other projects, so there will be bonus points added for this one. Write 1-2 sentences about each photograph.

EACH PROJECT MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS:

• Cover Slide: Title, Your Name, Class Period, Date• 10 (or 26) Slides with your edited photos and writing• Reflection Slide: Fill out the graphic organizer on the next slide and compose an

ACE It paragraph about this project.• 1 or 2 slides with all of your original photos
