• Hospital approvers must log into Dignity Health HIE portal to review “Request Access Queue” and approve new practice account requests at: https://hiehome.dignityhealthmember.org/cm/portal_login.asp?redirID=1&cameFrom=0

– Approvers will log into the system using their Dignity Health Network ID and Password

– Approvers will only be able to approve requests in their designated regional HIE

• After login, hospital approvers must review the physicians for each practice requesting an account. Approvers must complete the following for each physician:

– Complete Out of Band Physician Authentication by searching for physician practice in Google and contacting practice to confirm that the practice originated the request

– Confirming the physician state license

– Confirming the physician can participate in State and Federal programs

• Following physician approval, hospital approvers must also validate each practice user for whom an account is being requested

• Following physician validation, click boxes to approve practice users. In addition, any notes can be captured and recorded that relate to the verification process.

• Click on “Submit” to complete the approval for the Practice.

• Filter on Dropped

• Select the names to be undropped

• Select “Undrop Entries”

UnDrop Requests

• Occasionally an approver drops a request by mistake

• A request may be “undropped” to save the practice the trouble of re-submitting the request

• Choose the Details View

• If a practice needs to resume an incomplete request, you may provide them the batch key.

• Choose the Details View

• Filter on “Request Incomplete”

• Copy the Batch Key

• Requestor may resume request with batch key, plus e-mail address for original requestor

• To find original e-mail of requestor, you may click on username to the left of the screen.
