4.~ Straightness y/';. Out-of-straightness of a pane is a function of its' thickness, Us

.J Out-of-straightness can occur along the edge of a pane over relatively short sections.-Overa section 300 mm long, the permissible out-of-stralqhtness, h'hshall be 0,3 mm for all glass

•types except cast glass.It shall be measured usingastraightedge at. a distance of 25 mm from the edge of the pane,

6.2 Drilling holes and cutting out Drilling holes and cutting out is only permitted prior to the glass being prestressed.

i 6.2.1 Holes The minimum distance of a hole edge from the glass edges and from other hole edges shall be twice the glass thickness. If there' ar~ more than four holes in any configuration, the manufai:turer shall be consulted regarding minimum distances. If ahole is drilled in the corner-of a pane so that a . hole edge is 'less than 35 mm from the glass edge. the corresponding distance from the other edge shall be at least 5 mm greater.

The limit deviations on distances shall be on the lines of table 2.·1

,I 6.2.2 Cutting out , I The many possibilities of cutting out cannot be dealt with f,a~ here. The extent and location of cutting out shall be subject to

~~~ agreement with the manufacturer.
. 7' sample panes Given the wide. variety of glass and pane types, the size of sample,panes shall be subject to agreement with the manufacturer.
