And also have been done some configuration modifications as per site requirements.

All the above have been communicated with ABB micro SCADA and done all the signals and

controls from station HMI.

Also learned basic ideas about ABB micro SCADA for small engineering work like communication

check with CET software, signal text modifications, object text modifications, Bus-bar colouring,

basic engineering work with IET tool, how to take backup with Acronis software and how to load

the file for NCC address.

and two 132/33kV Transformer bays are exiting from bus. So the current

coming in should be equal to current going out and all of them are checked

with secondary injection to the relay and done Bus-bar differential stability

have been done with primary injection and for sensitivity changed polarity and

found unstable.

o Also checked the blind zone protection on Line and Transformer bays.

operations have been done from SCADA for all the equipments.

Primary Test:

ABB Current Transformer complete primary test like polarity test, winding resistance test,

Knee point test, Ratio test and Insulation Resistance.

ABB Capacitive Voltage Transformer completes primary test like Polarity test, Winding

resistance test, Ratio test and Insulation Resistance.

Contact Resistance and Insulation Resistance have been done for Isolators and Earth

Switches made by ABB.

Contact resistance, Insulation resistance and Timing test for ABB Outdoor Circuit

Breakers.

Complete test for Emco 220/132/33kV Auto Transformer like Winding Resistance,

Insulation Resistance, Short circuit impedance test, Vector group test, Voltage Imbalance

test, Ratio Test for all 17 taps of the transformer and also Tan Delta test for Bushings and

Windings.

Complete test for TANELEC 0.25 MVA Auxiliary Transformer like Winding Resistance,

Insulation Resistance, Short circuit Impedance, Ratio test, Voltage Imbalance test for all 5

taps of the Transformer.

Complete test for 33kV Schneider GIS Switchgear which is include Current Transformer,

Circuit Breaker, Voltage Transformer, XLPE HT cables and Bus bars.

Insulation Resistance, Winding Resistance, Knee point voltage and Ratio test for HV and

LV Bushing CT’s.

Insulation Resistance and Hi-Potential test for 11KV HT Cables.

Winding Resistance, Insulation Resistance, Knee point voltage and Ratio test for Gemini

Instatech Limited CURRENT TRANFORMER.

Insulation Resistance and Capacitance Measurement for Copper Power Systems Single

Phase Capacitor Bank.

6. RUAI 66/11 KV SUBSTATION (August 2015)

For maintenance, following tests have been done and commissioned the station

Contact resistance for 11 KV ABB panel Busbar.

Contact resistance for 11 KV Indoor Circuit Breakers.

Transformer and Busbar Stability have done with 415 V supply in HV side and created

fault in LV side.

Relay test for Over-current protection, Earth fault Protection and Transformer

differential Bias Slope in ABB REB670 relay.

ARC protections in REF615 have done.

7. KANGEMA 33/11 KV SUBSTATION (July 2015)

Testing Crompton Graves 33 KV circuit breaker

Contact resistance, Winding resistance and Timing test have been done for outdoor

Circuit Breakers.
