The student will gain understanding of how organizations candesign and implement winning strategies in order to realize their visions, missions and goals. Certi�cate in Computer ApplicationsThis programme provides students will skills to operate and usecomputers in a business environment. The student will gain workingknowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, data management,internet and computerized o�ce operations such as printing andscanning among others. The student will use MS O�ce suite and will beable to comfortably use MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint,among others. This programme is suitable for those who would like to usethe o�ce or home computer more e�ectively and those who would like toacquire certi�cation that proves their competence in computer applications.Course Duration: 1 month

The student will learn and havethe ability to apply the theories of procurement and logistics as well as acquire knowledge and skills in thedevelopment and operations of warehousing, inventory, transport, and sustainable business relationships.The student will gain understanding of how procurement and logistics functions integrate and impact onother business functions. Diploma and Certi�cate in Early Childhood EducationThe Diploma in Early Childhood Education is designed to train early childhood educators that areresponsive and inclusive in their practice. The objectives of this diploma is to enable participants to applyeducational and child development theories, design learning environments that meet the needs ofindividual children, and use a variety of pre-school approaches that facilitate a creative anddevelopmentally appropriate curriculum. The student will have the opportunity to apply the knowledgerequired in a real classroom and early childhood setting where he/ she will be supervised by practicingprofessional educators. Holders of this diploma can progress to the Bachelor of Arts(Counselling Psychology) and fast track their degree through exemptions.The Certi�cate in Early Childhood Education provides a basic introduction to the skills and knowledgerequired for the education and care of infants, toddlers, and young children. The student will be introducedto knowledge and skills required to manage the growth and development of a child and provide astimulating and safe environment for young children. Diploma in Computer MaintenanceThis programme provides a solid foundation for building and maintaining computers. The student will gainpractical training in computer maintenance and repair, hardware installation, network administration andinstallation, software installation and removal, and computer operating system operations, and help deskskills. At the end of the programme, the student will be able to provide solutions to users for software andhardware problems, set up computer systems, install software and hardware, train users and maintainnetworks.Course Duration: 9 months

Diploma in e-Commerce and Mobile ComputingThis programme is designed to produce computing graduates equipped to function as e-CommerceAnalysts, Online Database Programmers, Mobile Network Infrastructure Designers and Mobile ApplicationsDevelopers with emphasis on innovation. Diploma in BankingThis programme provides foundation knowledge of �nancial accounting, banking and �nancial services,economics, and risk management. The student will understand how �nancial institutions function as wellas learn di�erent techniques used in the banking and �nancial industry. Diploma in IT Enabled ServicesThis programme produces computing graduates with strong technical knowledge who wish to enter theInformation Technology (IT) Sector as BPO Agents, e-Government Analysts, Online Database Programmers,e-Government Network Infrastructure Designers and Administrators, and e-Commerce Support with astrong foundation for entrepreneurship. Strong emphasis is put on the �nal year when students develope-Government Portals and BPO Platforms projects that bring together the conceptual modellingknowledge, problem solving and independent critical thinking skills needed by information technologyprofessionals/ knowledge workers.Course Duration: 15 months

Diploma in Network Security and Computer ForensicsThis programme prepares the student for a career in computer security, network security, or forensicinvestigation. The student gains skills in network security, scripting, and cryptographic protocols and howto perform forensic data analysis using the latest commercial tools (Encase and Forensic Tool Kit). The student will also developreading and listening strategies required for lectures as well as public speaking for participation indiscussions and seminars.Course Duration: 3 months

Certi�cate in EntrepreneurshipThis programme will develop the student in the area of strategic decision making, planning, marketing,and management for his/ her business start-up. The student will be able to develop realistic business and�nancing plans as well as target the right market for the product or service with the right marketingmessage. Graduates of this programme will experience reduced start- up risk and build their businesses ina sustainable manner. Certi�cate in Social EntrepreneurshipThis programme equips the student with the skills and knowledge needed to identify, confront and providesolutions to social problems at the community level. The programme draws from di�erent disciplines suchas business management, sociology, non- pro�t management, and public administration in order to enablethe student apply entrepreneurial principles within a social context. The student will developentrepreneurial skills that can be used to start or enhance projects or organizations intended for tacklingsocial problems in his or her area of in�uence.
