Interest for the topic: ½ Project idea: Endophitic microorganisms are microorganism which has as habitat differents plants organs being not pathogens or symbionts. There fungi, bacteria, actynomicetes. From plants of agricultural interest, were isolated a lot of bacteria and fiungi antagonists of plants and not only pathogens. They both are releasing substances with antibiotic/antifungi properties which could be a base for new antifungals / antibiotics in the situation of increasing pathogens resistance to classical antibiotics / antifungals, Strains with such potential are form the genera Bacillus, Paenibacillus, Steptomyces, Kokuria, Micrococcus Acetobacter, Klebsiella Rhizobium, and so on, Many of these strains release substances with pharmaceutical potential (antibiotics, antifungal, antitumoral), have in the same time, an effect of stimulation of plants growth and development. The Res Instit,. for Plant Protection has a work groups regarding bacteriology of plants and soils, having a collection of strains with the necessary properties. Relevant publications: 1.Fendrihan S.,(2013) Preliminary result of isolation of bacteria fom potato tubers.RJPP, nr,2 vol XV 2.Fendrihan S. (2014) Bacteria and modern agriculture RJPP, vol XVI
