We are very happy to welcome you all to theInternational Phonosurgery Symposium Kyoto (IPSK),which will be held on January 31 – February 2, 2018, atKyoto University, Japan.
This Symposium aims to interact and exchange ideasand visions for phonosurgery including frameworksurgery and laryngeal microsurgery featured byspasmodic dysphonia and laryngeal paralysis. Bus30-40min.Take city bus 206 [bound for "Kitaoji-Bus Terminal Higashiyama St."] from bus terminal D2 to “Konoedori" bus stop. North entrance of hospital is approximately 1 min walk to west along Konoe Street from the bus stop.
From Kyoto Station to Clinical Auditorium (Jan. 31st)
Enter the gate on the south side of Konoe St., little walk down, turn left, walk a little through cycling parking area, turn right, then you can see two gates. Select the right one, entrance of Clinical Auditorium. The registration desk is just behind the entrance.

In our International Phonosurgery Symposium Kyoto 2018, we invite Mr. BaeJae-Chul who is famous as a global tenor. Mr. Bae Jae-Chul lost his voice
after surgery for thyroid cancer in 2005. He underwent Dr. NobuhikoIsshiki’s framework surgery including thyroplasty, and made a great
comeback with “the singing voice of miracle” in 2008.This session will be with Mr. Bae Jae-Chul and Nobuhiko Isshiki, and shall
provide the fusion of opera and phonosurgery.
国際的テノールであるベーチェチョルさんをお招きし、医療と芸術の融合をテーマにしたセッションを行います。ベーチェチョルさんは甲状腺癌の手術後に声帯麻痺を患いましたが、一色信彦先生による音声改善手術を受け舞台に復帰されました。セッションでは一色先生による講演とべーさんにその復帰までの道のりをお話しいただきます。(セッションの進行は英語で行います)
