To achieve excellence in sports and win medals at international and national sporting events.

OBJECTIVE(For all Government School Students)


Motivation for StudentsThe first and the foremost thing is that you have to motivate your school students to come out in the playground in their P.T. period and play games to maintain fitness.


Each and every student of school should be asked to play at least one sports discipline and participate in at least one sports activity at school level.

Motivation for Students


Each & every PET is required to prepare at least two teams for participating in zonal sports tournament for their further selection in Inter-zonal and national sports tournaments.

Motivation for Students


Motivation for PETs• Motivate your Physical Education Teacher to

give sports material available in the school to the students.

• They should be asked to choose three disciplines, as per their choice, and impart basic knowledge about three sports disciplines to all the school students.

• They should be allowed to accompany Delhi Teams for various National School Games.


They should be asked to keep the sports ground well maintained and sports material well intact for their proper utilization.

Motivation for PETs


YogaWherever yoga teacher is available, he/she is required to prepare yoga teams for participating in Zonal, Inter-zonal and National yoga competition.


Cultural ActivitiesWherever music teacher is available, she/he is required to prepare students for participating in Zonal, Inter-zonal, State and National cultural activities.


Plan Allocation to purchase Sports Material

You are provided Rs. 8,000/- per annum for procurement of sports material for the students.

Use this allocation as early as possible.


Refreshments & Conveyance

You are provided funds @ Rs. 20/- per head for refreshment & Rs. 30/- per head for conveyance for those students who participate in zonal sports and cultural competition.Ensure that the students are provided refreshment & conveyance for these games.


Encouraging Factor

Due to your support, Delhi is on TOP of the country in National School Games by winning 288 Gold Medals, 122 Silver Medals and 90 Bronze Medals.
