The FMCOG Food Pantry is beginning to plan for our annual Thanksgiving Meals. Our goal is to be able to serve 60 families a turkey and a large ready-to-prepare meal. This project will run September – October. Keep an eye on the bulletin for items to donate. JUNIOR TALENT Those participating in Junior Talent will need to register online at www.fmcog.com, under the upcoming events tab, in order to participate in our group categories. Young at Heart Saturday, September 5, 4:30 pm in the Family Life Center. If you are 55+, come and fellowship with your church family. Shrimp Boat Chicken will be provided, and you just need to bring a dish to share. We’ll have special ministry in music by Rhonda Costner. Come and be blessed.

Everyone is Invited to the Wonderful Annual Sanctuary Class Party! We will gather at 5 pm Saturday, September 26, at the Family Life Center for our annual get-together with lots of fun, a delicious meal, a terrific program packed full of great FMCOG musical talents and loads of laughs and meaningful worship. The Worship Arts ministries of FMCOG will be going to New York City for a three-night, four-day adventure, and we have a few seats left for adults 18 & older! The trip will include three nights lodging, motorcoach transportation, a visit to the 9/11 Memorial, One World Observatory, Brooklyn Tabernacle Church, shopping, a Broadway show, world famous Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, and much more! Total cost is $725 plus personal spending money. Seats will be released on a first-come, first-serve basis. $200 non-refundable deposit will secure your spot and is required no later than August 16 with remaining balance due by September 13. Sermon Series Pastor Kemp’s July series, “The Dismantling of Christian America,” is available in a 4-DVD Set for $30 or 4-CD Set for $15. If you’d like to order these powerful sermons, please complete a Media Department Order Form envelope and drop it in the offering plate or give to any usher. (The envelopes are available in the foyer.)

Shiver Me Timbers and Yo! Ho! Ho! Hoist your sails and join us for some pirate fun! The “Girlfriends Pirate Party” will be Friday night, September 11.
