What is a disability?Mental illness?Physical illness?Brain Damage?Individuals in a wheelchair?

A disability may be generally defined as a condition which may restrict a person's mental, sensory, or mobility functions to undertake or perform a task in the same way as a person who does not have a disability.

People are often mistaken that the word “disabled” associates with someone who is in a wheelchair, or who is blind or deaf. They have the attitude that people with a disability are totally different and therefore need to be treated differently. Unfortunately, this kind of stereotyping is in itself a form of discrimination.

How should we treat people who are disabled?

Why change? They are still the same person as you.The same way you would hope to be treated.Treat everyone with the same respect that you would want!Don’t feel sorry for them; however encouraging, motivating and raising

their self esteem will boost their confidence.

Just to clarify, we've participated in this episode to “Raise Awareness” that people with a so-called disability can still live normal, but more importantly happy, lives.

To cocoon a disabled person from society and/or be embarrassed, would make social integration less accessible for that person. Even if little Ayyub does have difficulties in the future we will remain patient as "defeat is not the worst of failures, not to have tried is the true failure".
