We don’t just make aircraft seatsWe’ve spent the last 13 years on a quest to improve passenger comfort and the discoveries we have made along the way have been game changing. It is assumed that ample padding is the key to a comfortable airline seat. But through rigorous research, testing and evaluation, we’ve concluded that the real secret is space.

In recent years our intelligent design philosophy has won us critical acclaim, in 2015 our Series 3 in-arm table was a finalist in the Crystal Cabin Awards. In 2017 and 2018 we achieved further acclaim with Pax International naming us Best Seat Provider consecutively and the Sunday Times honouring us with a Virgin Fast Track 100 Innovation Award.

But we’re not resting on our laurels. In the years ahead we will make further investment in our production facilities, product range and the expansion of our global reach. Our talent is growing with our business and in turn we’re reaching new heights in our capabilities for comfort innovation.

We start with the passenger because we believe that comfort is a human experience, not a material quality. Then we consider the space. 6Perfecting comfortOur next generation Economy seat is the ultimate demonstration of our innovative Extra-spatial design. The seat is built around a key innovation: a fully composite seatback that is both as beautiful as it is space-efficient. The result is increased passenger comfort and freedom to move, with 2” more room at knee level, allowing a passenger at 6’ 3” height to easily stretch out their legs without touching the seat in front, even at 28” pitch.

7A different class We designed the Series 7 Premium Economy seat as a

piece of furniture, rather than a piece of equipment. Our design approach makes the most of hidden dimensions, maximising seat width and creating unparalleled levels of living space at foot and shoulder levels. With a fully articulated seat pan, crafted of the finest materials, Series 7 incorporates an aesthetic more akin to a VIP jet, whilst retaining Acro’s trademark simplicity.
