Welcome to Spokane Civic Theatre. Our past season was a very busy one, and the busy hasn’t slowed for our new season. When you walk through the doors of our theatre, I hope you will notice the face-lift we are undergoing with our lobby and our Main Stage. A big thanks to the INB Performing Arts Center and the Public Facilities District for our new seating, and to Spokane Civic Theatre Endowment Fund for our new lobby décor.

We hope to continue to improve our theatre, expand our productions, and further integrate with the entire Spokane community through the art we create. We wish to thank you, the patron, for your continued support for the arts through the tickets you purchase and the donations you make. Your commitment to help us thrive, makes Spokane thrive.

Break A Leg,

Mike Shannon, Executive Director

The titles that make up this season’s slate share a common theme: Exploration. A fantastic nanny’s wild imagination, an explosive dinner party, heart wrenching reunions, an extraordinary investigation, treks to undiscovered territories, and imagined insects - our season’s storybook is both varied and alluring.

The duty to further our organization’s significance in a community with such a rich history is an intriguing challenge. We survive and thrive, due to the commitment and generosity of our donors, patrons, staff members, and volunteers. We understand with that commitment, comes responsibility. This year, I hope we are all inspired to be more adventurous as we explore new stories and new characters.

It is an unimaginable privilege to be trusted with your time and resources.

Thank you.

Welcome to your 2018 / 2019 season.

Jake Schaefer, Creative Director
