There is evidence based research that proves that where women play an active role in the development of their communities; then those communities thrive successfully› To educate a woman is to educate a nation› Women share their success meaningfully
Therefore we believe that given the opportunities: Women with disabilities also inherently have that perspective of being catalysts of development› This drives our conviction that women with
disabilities are great strategic partners in development
There is NO world for disabled persons
Therefore INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT IS THE ONLY MEANINGFUL ROUTE TO FOLLOW FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
We believe that by enabling women with disabilities to actively participate in consulting, trading and investments› We contribute to inclusive development› We enable women with disabilities to take
up leadership position› We enable women with disabilities to
realise their potential
› We enable women with disabilities to regain their rightful place as full citizens in their communities
› We enable women with disabilities to regain their dignity amongst their communities; particularly amongst their families
Women with disabilities given the opportunities are able to participate & contribute in development
It starts with their OWN development DIVUSENI allows for this as the woman
take responsibility of their OWN lives DIVUSENI women LIFT THEMSELVES

How the research is utilized to enable women with disabilities to benefit from the research
Ensure that research can be effectively utilized at every level of development
E.g. research in economic empowerment will identify what activities can be action oriented with specific identified outputs
E.g. employment should focus on what strategies to be established to ensure that it happens and what protocols to be followed.
Need to ensure that outcomes of research is applicable to delivery and can be used MEANINGFULLY
CONSULTATIONS: Convene regional consultative forums bringing organizations of disabled women, together with experts in the field - where women with disabilities who have the expertise and experience from respective regional areas would have an opportunity to discuss ways in which support could be directed at women.
RECOMMENDATIONS
