FEATURES AND BENEFITS

Responsibility - In times of emergency, providing drinking water is a major obligation. Humans can only survive for three days without drinking water. Safe, disease-free water is essential during times when other life threatening events impact populations.

Performance - Calcium hypochlorite treatment combined with micro�ltration provides the most reliable puri�cation that meets USEPA drinking water standards. The result is inactivation of >99.9999% of bacteria, >99.99% of viruses and >99.95% of proto-zoans.

Economical - The DIVVY 250 triple tank system puri�es 6000 gallons of water per day (42,000 gallons per week). Purchasing 42,000 gallons of bottled water would cost $40,000 at a warehouse store. Warehousing and shipping would increase the total cost.

Puri�cation - Removes water borne bacteria, protozoan cysts, particulate, taste and odors, and effectively inactivates viruses.

Storage - The DIVVY 250 can be stored in 24 cubic feet of space (single tank system) or 36 cubic feet of space (triple tank system). In contrast, it would take 11,200 cubic feet of space to store 42,000 gallons of bottled water (317,800 16.9 oz. bottles) which would weighs approximately 168 tons, and would only last one week.

Portable - The single tank system weighs 211 pounds (95.7 kilos), stores in three soft cases and can be transported in a mid-sized car or dropped from an airplane. It can be easily transported anywhere a human can drive, �y, climb or walk.

Human Powered - No electricity or fuel is required to power the system. Filling the tanks and �nal �ltration is completed using hand operated pumps. However, the system can be easily �tted to power-driven pumps if necessary.

Easy, No Tool Assembly - One person, no tool assembly in 30 minutes and distribution of puri�ed water in as little as 90 minutes after arrival at a fresh water source.

High Flow Carbon Filter - Removes >99.95% of Cryptosporidium and Giardia. The 1.0 micron �lter also removes residual chlorine down to approximately 0.3 to 0.5 parts per million, the EPA recommended residual chlorine level.

Approvable Funding - The Homeland Security Grant (SHSP) and is listed on the FEMA Authorized Equipment List (RKB).

Nationally Deployable Assets - The system can be pre-deployed or quickly relocated in collaboration with another jurisdiction when disaster occurs.

Performs Many Critical Functions - Emergency management, military deployments, disaster relief organizations, �re depart-ments, public health departments, universities, hospitals, or anytime, anywhere people require a safe supply of drinking water.

Capacity - The triple tank system is shipped with all supplies needed to purify 60,000 gallons of water. Single tank systems are shipped ready to purify 20,000 gallons.

Accessories - Additional recommended accessories include extra lay �at �ll hoses in 10 or 20 foot lengths which would provide additional �exibility in locating DIVVY tanks on level surfaces for improved points of distribution. Each �at �ll hose includes a hose connector.

Consumables - Replacement �lters, pre-�lter socks, pre-dosed calcium hypochlorite, and DIVVY tank liners can be estimated and ordered at the time of purchase or anytime thereafter. See the following order form for recommended accessories and consumables.
