Leadership Day – James Wood was such an inspirational speaker. He spoke to students about ways to achieve their goals, and what it takes to be a good leader. Students also took away three great messages. 1. Make good choices. 2. Take responsibility for your actions. 3. Look out for others. Students from Lilydale High ran some great team building activities. To finish the day, we had the Youth Ambassadors speak to the students from Yarra Rangers Council to get feedback on our community.

A big thank you to Melanie Jacobs and Tracey our Chaplain for assisting me in the set-up of our new Literacy and Numeracy resource room. Having all resources in the one location greatly assists teachers with planning.

I have sent out reminders for outstanding payments for this term. If you are yet to pay school fees, can all or part payments please be made.

Anthony Glynn has worked every Wednesday with students delivering a number of different sports for students. He makes lessons fun and engaging while also teaching students correct techniques. Anthony held a tennis tournament last week. Congratulation to Hayle and Lincoln for winning.
