DIY Paper Spinner

Craft up a few really fun spinners–You spin them and they hum! It’s super fun. Most of the supplies you probably already have around the house! Here’s the how-to instructions.

Supplies/ Suministros:

Twine or string/ Guita o cuerda

cardboard circle/ círculo de cartón

two cardstock circles/ dos círculos de cartulina

markers or crayons/ marcadores o crayones

glue sticks/ pegante de barra

Color the cardstock circles, the more colorful, the more fun it is to see as it spins.

Colorea los círculos de cartulina, cuanto más colorido, más divertido es verlo mientras gira.

Glue on the cardstock circles to the cardboard, (one on each side!)

Poke two holes. Make your holes about ¼ inch or more from the center of your circle. Do not us the center hole that is in your cardboard circle as one of your two holes. If you use the center hole it will be off balanced.

Haz dos agujeros. Haga sus agujeros aproximadamente a ¼ de pulgada o más desde el centro de su círculo. No use el orificio central que está en su círculo de cartón como uno de sus dos orificios. Si usa el orificio central, estará fuera de balance.

Run the rope through the holes and tie a knot. Pasa la cuerda por los agujeros y haz un nudo.

Take a piece of rope in each hand with the circle in the middle and go in circles to get the rope twisted.

Now you pull…relax…pull…relax. IF you do it right, the spinners make a humming noise!!!!
