It’s an appropriate place to meet cli-ents and/or associates.

Ideally located in the centre of Laidley’s main street area.

The hub offers co-working desks, small meeting rooms and a training room suitable for groups of 8-10; all

with reliable WiFi access.

The Neilsen’s Place business incubator is an economic

development initiative of Lockyer Valley Regional Council to support

the growth and development of business.

Lockyer Valley Regional Council has created a Digital Workspace for use by business and professionals.

The Digital Workspace is a dedicated business hub providing convenient office and meeting facilities, offering the following:

· Shared co-working desk space;

· Meeting and/or board rooms;

· Small group (8-10) training spaces;

· High speed internet connection; and

· 24/7 Electronic access.

The facility is located at the rear of Neilsen’s Place in the Laidley Heritage Mall on Patrick Street.

What does it cost?

Co-working desk $30.00 per day

Meeting rooms $30.00 per 2.5 hours

(Max 5 hours per day)

Training/Board room $50.00 per 3 hours

(Max 6 hours per day)

It is also possible to pay a monthly fee of $260 for access to all the facilities. (In fairness to other users this is limited to 16 hours per week.)

What else do I need to know?

All fees for use of the facility are required to be paid in advance.

Please respect that other people also use these spaces to conduct their business activities.

This is a shared space, hence we ask that you are considerate of other users and make every effort to keep the areas neat, clean and tidy at all times.

The Digital Workspace provides business and office

facilities, as an alternative to the traditional home office.

Utilising these facilities provides an economy of scale, decreased feelings of isolation and increases your motivation, enthusiasm and energy.

Examples of use:

¨ Team meeting space outside your business;

¨ Training space for groups of 8-10;

¨ Quiet desk for uninterrupted work;

¨ Meeting room for conducting interviews;

¨ Attend and participate in Webinars; and

¨ Conduct meetings with clients.

Neilsen’s Place is overseen by Lockyer Valley Regional Council and is an economic development initiative supporting business to establish, operate and grow.
