The Noceboard will provide noces of any changes to the site, including when new publicaons have been uploaded. Emergency Alerts are more visible to users on the Home Page, with links to exisng warning sites such as the Bureau of Meteorology and Rural Fire Incidents Map sll available on the site through the warnings tab. An Events Calendar will display upcoming State and Naonal emergency management events. Our Partners is a new feature and one suggested by local government stakeholders. This frame will feature the logos of Queensland DM partners, with each logo hyperlinked to the partners’ relevant website. The Disaster Management Guidelines Unit (DMGU) has been working with the QFES Online Team and Public Safety Business Agency to build and refresh the Disaster Management (DM) Website. The deployment of the DM Website will be conducted in two releases. On Thursday, 11 January 2018, deployment one will provide improved navigaon, search funcon and homepage layout, links to Queensland DM Partners and social media feeds from across emergency services (QPS, QFES and QAS) and the Bureau of Meteorology. Deployment two will provide an interacve guideline navigaon feature and will coincide with the release of the new Prevenon, Preparedness, Response and Recovery (PPRR) Disaster Management Guideline in early 2018. Go Live Deployment #1 Issue

Home Page Design and Navigation

Users will be able to more easily navigate the site on the

home page (pictured left), from the top header menu or

through searching for specific site content or resources.

The Noticeboard will provide notices of any changes

to the site, including when new publications have been

uploaded.

Emergency Alerts are more visible to users on the
