DATA MANAGEMENT AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

SEMINAR-WORKSHOP FOR PRIVATE SCHOOLS

TO : Schools District Supervisors

Heads, Private Elementary and Secondary Schools

1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 26 s. 2015 entitled Learner Information System (LIS)

and Enhanced Basic Education Information System (EBEIS) Updating for Beginning

of School Year (BOSY) 2015-2016, the Schools Division of Isabela will conduct the

Data Management and Information Technology Seminar-Workshop for Private

Schools on July 27, 2015 at Piazza Zicarelli Hotel, Gamu, Isabela.

2. The seminar-workshop aims to:

a. explain the processes in using the Enhanced Basic Education Information System

(EBEIS) and Learner Information System (LIS) for registering, enrolling, and

updating learner profiles from private schools;

b. capacitate Private School ICT Coordinators on LIS, User Accounts Management

and other components of LIS through hands-on/workshop; and

c. enlist their commitment and participation to agreed activities and timelines.

3. The participants of this seminar-workshop are the ICT Coordinators of private

elementary and secondary schools. PROXY is not allowed. Participants are advised

to bring laptop, pocket wi-fi, extension wires, and the soft (in Excel format) and hard

copy of the accomplished template of Private School Registry of Learners.

4. The program will start at 8:00AM and will end at 5:00PM. Participants are not

allowed to leave before the program ends.

5. Expenses for food and handouts will be borne by Schools Division Office.

6. Enclosed are the matrix of the training and the template of Private School Registry of

Learners.
