In the event of an overheat condition, the fuel, air and ignition to the heater is automatically cut off. Do not attempt to restart the heater until it has been inspected and the cause of the malfunction has been determined and corrected.

NOTE: When heat is required, ATP recommends operating the heater on the ground prior to flight. This verifies that overheat protection wasn't actuated during a previous flight. If it was, turning the CABIN HEAT on will illuminate the overheat annunciator light.
