• “Fine Print”- the terms and conditions you agree to when you sign a contract
Why read the Fine Print?
• You will understand exactly what you are agreeing to when you sign the contract.
• It often contains information about extra charges or fees
What to do before you sign a contact
• READ THE CONTRACT• If you do not understand something, ask
questions!• Check all the figures and charges• Do not sign a contract that has mistakes or
missing information
Be careful of the following:
• Don’t let the salesperson rush you• Never sign a contract with blank spaces.• Do not agree to verbal contracts- get it in
writing!• Always request a copy of the contract
