1a Robin Hood
4-5 Mal auf färbiges Papier kopieren
Do you know who Robin of Loxley war? Well, maybe you know the name Robin
Hood. Robin’s real name was Robin of Loxley. He lived about 800 years ago
when King Richard was the King of England.
Richard was often away from England and his brother, Prince John, ruled
England. Prince John was a bad man – he loved money and he took taxes from
the people. He took more and more and more money from them. Robin Hood
didn’t
like Prince John. He wanted Richard to be the king again. Prince John took
Robin’s land and money away from him so Robin went to live in Sherwood
Forest. Some of Robin’s friends went to live in the forest, too. When
rich people travelled through the forest, Robin and his men stopped them and
took their gold. They gave some of the gold to poor people and some of the
gold to King Richard’s friends. Prince John’s
soldiers wanted to find Robin and put him in prison. Robin and his men hid
from the soldiers in Sherwood Forest. Robin and his men wore green clothes
because green is difficult to see in a forest. In
1194, Richard came out of prison and went back to England. He gave Robin his
land back and Robin Hood was a national hero.
