1. We need to stop thinking the way the world does.

Romans 12:2 (NIV)

2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be

transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his

good, pleasing and perfect will.

2. We need to start thinking God’s way.

Hebrews 4:12 (NIV)

12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-

edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and

marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (MSG)16 Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or

another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our

mistakes, training us to live God's way. 17 Through the Word we are

put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us.

3. We need to spend time in His word.

the seat of mockers. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his

law he meditates day and night.
