Doctrine and Covenants 112President Spencer W. Kimball said, "How does one get humble? To me, one must constantly be reminded of his dependence. On whom dependent? On the Lord. How remind one's self? By real, constant, worshipful, grateful prayer. Humility is teachableness—an ability to realize that all virtues and abilities are not concentrated in one's self" (The Teachings of Spencer W. Kimball, 233).

Now lean over to the most humble person sitting close to you and compliment them for being humble

Just for fun… (English is Hard)We'll begin with a box: the plural is boxes,

but the plural of ox is oxen, not oxes.

One fowl is a goose, but two are called geese,

Yet the plural of moose should never be meese.

You'll find a lone mouse, or a nest of mice,

But the plural of a house is houses, not hice.

If I speak of a foot, you show me your feet

And I give you a boot, would a pair be called beet?

If one is a tooth, and a set is called teeth,

Why wouldn't the plural of both be called beeth?

If the singulars this and the plural is these,

Should the plural of kiss be written as keese?

One may be that, and two may be those,Yet hat in the plural would never be hose. And the plural of cat would never be cose. We speak of brother, and also of brethrenBut though we say mother, we never say methren. The masculine pronouns are he, his and him,But imagine the feminine, she, shis, and shim! English is funny; on that we agree,And alphabet soup makes no sense to me.
