All locators of PEZA Special Economic Zones throughou t the Philippines, duly registered with PEZA are exempted from the requ i rements of Department Order DO) 12-2014 as amended by DO 18-2014 , and shall be eligible for accreditation as importers with the Bureau of Customs Account Management Office BOC- AMO) . For this purpose , BOC may request a certified list of registered locators fro m PEZA .  e tion 2. The BOC may still require the submission of documents and information about PEZA locators prior to granting accred itation. W he nev er p oss ib le , the BOC sh ll obtain he documents and infor ation it needs about PEZA locato r s from documents and informat i on already in the possession of PEZA .  e tion 3. PEZA locators that will import goods into the Philippines will have to comply with the documentary requirements provided in the relevant rules of procedure of customs. Failure to do so will subject them to the sanctions and penalties as provided by the Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines , as amended and by per i ent customs laws and regu lations.  e tion 4. The Commiss i oner of Customs shall issue rules and regulations pursuant to this Order within fifteen 15) days from issuance hereof .  e tion 5. All orders , circulars, memoranda, issuances contrary to or i nc on si st en t he re w i th are hereby revoked and/or modif ied, and al l concer ned shall be guided accord ingly.  e tion 6. Under Department of Finance Department Order (DO) No. 107-2014 -- dated November 28, signed by Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima and which took effect immediately -- all locators at PEZA economic zones nationwide are exempt from complying with requirements of DOF DO 12-2014, as amended by DO 18-2014, and shall be eligible for accreditation as importers with the BOC-Account Management Office.

    SUBJECT: RULES ON ACCREDITATION WITH THE BUREAUOF CUSTOMS FOR PEZA LOCATORS

    Pursuant to this Department's thrust of promoting trade facilitation in asecured manner and ensuring the attainment of an effective and efficient customsmanagement, the following rules on the accreditation of Philippine Export ZoneAuthority (PEZA) locators as importers with the Bureau of Customs shall apply:

    Section 1. All locators of PEZA Special Economic Zones throughout thePhilippines, duly registered with PEZA are exempted from the requirements ofDepartment Order (DO) 12-2014 as amended by DO 18-2014, and shall be eligiblefor accreditation as importers with the Bureau of Customs Account ManagementOffice (BOC-AMO).
