INTRODUCTION

• The MV-10 is a remote-controlled, tracked mediumdouble tool mine clearance system developed byCroatia-based DOK-ING.

• It is the only medium class mine clearance systemequipped with two standard tools including both aflail and tiller.

DESIGN

• Designed specifically to perform mine clearancetasks, the MV-10 is equipped with operating toolssuch as a tiller and a double flail for digging andmine clearance.

• Additional tools such as a roller and a blade are alsoattached.

• The standard operating tool fitted forward isspecifically designed to destroy the mines and UXOas the vehicle moves forward.

MINE CLEARANCE SYSTEM

• The MV-10 is normally equipped with a combination ofrotating flail and rotating tiller for mine clearance tasks.

• The flail tool is used to activate or shatter AP and AVmines, while the rotating tiller is used to capture the soildisturbed by the flail tool.

• The tiller also maintains the constant digging depth bytransferring materials under the machine.

• The tiller and the flail can be operated bothsimultaneously and independently.

SELF-PROTECTION

• High quality armour is used to cover the vitalparts of the machine.

• The engine and other key components of thevehicle are protected by HARDOX 400 steelarmour plates.

• The impact hammers are made of steel canwithstand mine blasts.

ENGINE

• The MV-10 is powered by a Caterpillar C18 6-cylinder turbo-charged diesel engine delivering apower output of 571kW.

• The vehicle consumes about 50l of fuel an hourdepending on terrain and soil conditions.

• Fuel tank capacity is 480l and the RexrothBosch hydraulic system uses 400l of hydraulicoil.
