• Start early – some sponsorship applications can take a number of months
• Know your contract and what you may be responsible for in terms of fees

To be considered for UBC bursary support, you must:
• Be receiving a full time loan – and apply by July 15th
• Apply for the UBC bursary program by the deadline
• Have an assessed ‘unmet financial need’ by a loan provider

FACULTY CO-OP PROGRAMS: (http://www.coop.ubc.ca/)• Apply to your faculty’s co-operative work placement program (Co-op).• Full-time paid work terms (40 hours per week)• Integrates a student’s academic studies with relevant, quality work experience
GO GLOBAL:• Apply for a Go Global scholarship to study abroad for a term.
WORK LEARN PROGRAM: (UBC CareersOnline)• Part-time on-campus work experiences (10-20 hours per week)• Average salary: $16/hour• Positions range in expertise and experience required.
